Pete Carroll surprisingly sneaks in this one. It will be a great match-up no doubt. Again causing skeptics to want the NCAA to change-up the Bcs rating system since neither the Big 10 nor the Pac 10 play a conference playoff game.

Great match-up. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if this turns out to be the BCS Championship game. Tempe lucks out getting these two teams.

First time appearence for the Spartans in this bowl.
Vols won here in 2007.
Alabama vs Oklahoma St.
Coach Saban going for second bowl win as head coach of the Tide. Gundy will have something to say about that.
Michigan vs Clemson
Rich Rods first bowl game as head Wolverine.
Virginia Tech vs University of South Florida
A USF win will validate this program as a legitimate force in Division I football.
Florida St vs Kentucky
What a way to welcome in the New Year, watching Bobby Bowden running it up on the Wildcats.

Most have these 2 playing in a post New Years Day game. I think they come up a little short. Dec 29 to be exact.

Only Military personnel and politicians will be allowed to attend. LOL
