Patriot Leauge Lacrosse Parings announced--Bucknell to Play Host at Home

Bucknell will host the 2009 Patriot Leauge Lacrosse Tournaments:

The first semifinal match will pit the number one team in the Patroit Leauge in Bucknell, against the number 4 seeded Army Black Knights on Friday April 24th, 2009 at 3:00pm

In the second semifinal match #3 Navy will take on #2 Colgate at 5:45 p.m. , the two teams matched up earlier in the year and Navy lost by one goal to Colgate. This second Patriot final will take play immediately folllowing the first match between #1 Bucknell and #4 Army

Both Patriot Leauge semi-final matches can be seen on CBS College Sports on Direct TV channel 613.

In Saturdays action (April 18th), Bucknell defeated Colgate 19-11 to reamain undefeated in Patriot Leauge play at 6-0. With Bucknell going undefeated in Patriot Leauge play this means that Bucknell won home field advantage and will host the Patriot Leauge Tournament at Bucknell University in Center Valley Pennsylvania.

Army got a sigh of relief when they needed the the Lafayette Lepoards to defeat Lehigh by at least by one goal which forced a three way Patriot Leauge tie between Lehigh, Lafayette and Army. the Lafayette did that by defeating Lehigh 9-8, and with that win by Lafayette, it pushed Army ahead of the other teams (Lehigh and Lafayette) by virtue of a tie-breaker

Friday, April 24

Semifinal 1: No. 1 Bucknell vs. No. 4 Army (CBS College Sports), 3 p.m.

Semifinal 2: No. 2 Colgate vs. No. 3 Navy (CBS College Sports), 5:45 p.m.

Sunday, April 26

Championship: Winner Semifinal 1 vs. Winner Semifinal 2 (CBS College Sports), 3 p.m.
