Sportprojections.com Pick fo the Week (Nov. 8th & 9th)

NCAA College picks for November 8th

Clemson @ Florida State (-4) - With tommy Bowden being fired earlier in the season this game is no longer being touted as the "Bowden Bowl." We believe that will give incentive for Bobby to run up the score on the Tigers. This is an absolute drubbing of a bad team. Pick: Florida State (-4)

Alabama @ LSU (+3.5) - Does anyone know when the last time LSU was an underdog at home? We don't either but we do know they have the #1 team in the nation coming in. Saban is going to give heis RB tandem, Junior Glen Coffee and Freshman Mark Ingram, the chance to control this game. We don't think the Tigers have the horses to slow Bama down. Pick: Alabama (-3.5)

Oklahoma State @ Texas Tech (-3.5) - Can Texas Tech run the gauntlet that the other teams in the Big 12 have failed to? They are coming off a the biggest win in school history and now have to face 9th ranked Oklahoma State. We are excited to see Michael Crabtree vs. Dez Bryant. These two outstanding Sophomores should really put on a show as they attempt to outshine the other. We like the Texas Tech OL to be the difference as they allow give Graham Harrell plenty of time to get the ball down field. We expect another late game winning drive from Harrell and company. Pick: Texas Tech (-3.5)

California @ USC (-22.5) - This is an interesting game. This line started out at 17 and has now moved to 22.5. Mark Sanchez has his offense rolling and the USC defense may be the best in the country. They are playing with a chip on their shoulder because the slaughtered Washington by 56 last week and still lost 2 spots in the polls. That being said... California is a proud team that was able to knock off the Oregon Ducks last week in convincing fashion. Riley and Logshore will probably see action and Best will defintely get his touches. We like the Trojans but 22.5 is way too many. Pick: Cal (-22.5)

NFL Picks for November 9th

NYG @ Philadelphia (-3) - This is a tough game to pick. On one hand we have arguably the best team in football as underdogs. On the other hand Philadelphia is a team playing well, at home, as healthy as they have been in a long time. The thing that swayed our pick in this one is Brandon Jacobs ability to control the game on the ground. We love Westbrook but he has to prove he healthy enough to run the ball against the tough NYG front 7. We don't think that happens. Pick: NYG (+3)

Indianapolis @ Pittsburgh (-7) - So we have the struggling Colts 7 point dogs to a great Steelers team that has an ailing QB. Even if Big Ben was 100% heathy we would have a hard time giving 7. This is an easy one. Pick: Indy (+7) Straight up

Green Bay @ Minnesota (-2.5) - The Vikings are finally living up to expectations as Adrian Peterson and Bernard Berrian are starting to rack up stats. Frerotte is also playing well and managing the game. The Packers are not quite on their game as they have struggled to run the ball. Aaron Rodgers has played well but really needs some help from his ground game and his defense. We like the home team in this one. Pick: Minnesota (-2.5)

Tennessee @ Chicago (+3) - We were all set to pick the upset before Kyle Orton got hurt last week. Now, with Rex Grossman at the controls of the Bear offense we have to rethink our pick. Tennessee makes their living off of their run game and defense. It will be hard to run the ball against a stout Bears defensive front. We are defintely taking the under in this game. Pick: Titans (-3)
