Living in Washington, DC, I feel like I am up to speed on most current events. I read the Washington Post daily, the NY Times, and various political publications I find in my work office. I know the election results from each state, who is retiring in Congress, and what's the current battle between the Republicans and the Democrats. One thing I unfortunately don't know - SPORTS. I did know the NBA All-Star game was held in New Orleans but I don't know who won. I know which athletes are good looking and who has landed a modeling endorsement. This is something that needs to change. I'm not saying I want to be one of those girls who talks football or talks plays but I should be one of those girls who knows what is going on - not just about Allen Iverson's latest rap album - is that even up to date?
