AUBURN, Ala. -- Sophomore Cherice Robertson finished the heptathlon in seventh place with a career-best 4854 points to lead the Vanderbilt track and field team on day two of the Southeastern Conference Track & Field Championships at Hutsell-Rosen Track on the campus of Auburn University. Through two days of competition, Vanderbilt is tied for 10th in the team standings with two points.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Cole Figueroa's three-run homer in the fifth proved to be the game-winner as Florida defeated Vanderbilt 5-4 Friday night at McKethan Stadium. The Gators (33-20, 16-13 SEC) claimed the series with the win and moved ahead of the Commodores (37-17, 15-13 SEC) in the Southeastern Conference Eastern Division.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- Vanderbilt junior Jon Curran shot a two-under 69 on Friday to move up to 49th place after the second round of the NCAA East Regional at the Council Fire Golf Club.
