Retired Jazz shooting guard and current Jazz part-time assistant coach Jeff Hornacek, previously identified as a coaching candidate in Phoenix, has emerged as a candidate for the vacant head coaching position in Chicago as well.

Utah Jazz forward Paul Millsap will have surgery Thursday to repair his left thumb, which was injured during the Western Conference semifinals. General manager Kevin O'Connor says Millsap has a torn ligament. His recovery time won't be known until Friday.
