Men's Basketball: Jamaica Defeats Cuba in Overtime

TORTOLA, British Virgin Islands – Rutgers rising junior guard Mike Coburn (Mount Vernon, N.Y.) helped Jamaica to a 98-93 overtime victory over Cuba Friday evening at the Caribbean Basketball Championships. With the victory, Jamaica improves to 3-1 at the Championships and earned one of the three berths to the Centrobasket Tournament.

Men's Basketball: Rosario Scores Game-High 28 Points in Loss to Greece

AUCKLAND, New Zealand – Rutgers rising sophomore guard Mike Rosario (Jersey City, N.J.) shot nine of 19 from the field to score a game-high 28 points, but it was not enough as Puerto Rico suffered a 107-98 defeat to Greece Friday at the 2009 FIBA U19 World Championships. Rosario was eight-of-11 from the free throw line and grabbed two rebounds in 24 minutes of action.

TORTOLA, British Virgin Islands – Rutgers rising junior guard Mike Coburn (Mount Vernon, N.Y.) played a team-high 32 minutes, posting five points and dishing-out three assists, to help Jamaica to a 96-74 victory over Barbados Thursday evening at the Caribbean Basketball Championships. With the victory, Jamaica improves to 2-1 at the Championships and advances to play Cuba on Friday.
