The Nevada baseball had two players named to the All-Western Athletic Conference first team and four more named to the second team, the league announced Wednesday.

The Nevada baseball team hopes it will feel right at home in the Western Athletic Conference Tournament at Louisiana Tech, which starts this afternoon.

DENVER – The Western Athletic Conference today released its 2008 all-WAC baseball teams and postseason awards as selected by the league's head coaches.  Fresno State senior outfielder Steve Susdorf was named the Player of the Year and Fresno State junior Tanner Scheppers earned Pitcher of the Year honors. The Freshman of the Year award went to Fresno State infielder Danny Muno.  Fresno State's Mike Batesole and San Jose State's Sam Piraro were named WAC Co-Coaches of the Year.

The Wolf Pack men's basketball staff will hold the two boys basketball day camps this summer with the first one set for June 23-26 at the Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows.
