Hum. . .
WVU returns the entire OL White, Devine, Sutherland (played behind Devine), Cotlington (played behind Renaud) and 8 starters on Defense - a team that beat OU 48-28! (it could easily been much worse). I think your pickin' is a little on the biased side. The Big 10+1 - especially OSU has been slammed by all pundits for playing weak non conference teams and are over-rated.
An objective man's view of the 2008 top 25
1) USC - ("going away" best team)
2) WVU - (they're baaack!! all return except Reynaud)
3) Oklahoma (most starters returning - including Bradford)
4) Texas (excellent talent on all sides of the ball)
5) Florida (Tebow will carry them to victory - always)
6) Virginia Tech (excellent talent - weak schedule)
7) L.S.U. (reload U.)
8) Ohio State Univ. (of course a Big 10+1)
9) Oregon (tons of talent and the spread run well)
10) Wisconsin (big up front)
11) Auburn (excellent coach and excellent talent)
12) Clemson (Bowden is loading up for talent)
