The Marquette men's and women's cross country squads concluded the day at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Saturday afternoon finishing in 12th place and 11th place, respectively.

[1:30 p.m.] There were a number of first-time events at the Bradley Center Friday night, both on and off the court. Several players hit personal marks in the victory over Centenary and two brand-new video features also made their respective debuts prior to opening tip.

M. Basketball. Golden Eagles Defeat Centenary, 85-62, Behind Butler's 27 Points

Junior forward Jimmy Butler led the Marquette University men's basketball team with 27 points in an 85-62 victory over Centenary Friday night at the Bradley Center.

W. Soccer. No. 15 Dayton Edges No. 10 Marquette in a Shootout

The No. 10 Marquette women's soccer team saw its banner season come to an end Friday evening as it played to a 0-0 tie at No. 15 Dayton in NCAA Tournament First Round action, but did not advance to the second round as the Flyers edged the Golden Eagles, 4-3, in a shootout at Baujan Field. The Golden Eagles end their season 15-5-3 overall, while Dayton remains perfect (16-0-6) advances to play Virginia Tech on Sunday in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
