War

Could any one tell me, Is there any use of war. Why the every country want to increase their military power and getting offensive to each other. We can also take an Iraq war incident which the terrible day for their people. What the result came out from it except the lot's of innocent people died. We just need to be concern on that because there is no use of war except of distress. If any one get the solution, So please let me know.
