After a thrilling come from behind win over Louisiana Tech, two members of the Bulldog football team were honored Monday by the Western Athletic Conference. Junior linebacker Ben Jacobs and sophomore kicker Kevin Goessling won the awards for top defensive player and top special teams performer, respectively.
