In his first three exhibition games as a pro, former UConn guard A.J. Price has found himself in an unusual place at tipoff: sitting on the bench.

UConn will play Louisville, Cincinnati and Notre Dame twice next season. The Big East announced the 2009-10 men's basketball conference opponent breakdown Thursday, featuring an 18-game schedule for each of the 16 teams. Each school plays the other 15, with two games against three opponents.

Diana Taurasi walked off the basketball court and was making her way through the gauntlet known as the Olympic mixed zone when she stopped for a couple of familiar faces. This was last August in Beijing, and Taurasi wore a big smile and an even bigger medal.

STORRS, Conn. (Wednesday, March 25, 2009) - The University of Connecticut softball team will play three games on the road this week at Sacred Heart on Wednesday and Boston College on Thursday. These road games signify the start to a seven-game week for the Huskies that will conclude with doubleheaders at home against DePaul and Syracuse.

STORRS, Conn. (Tuesday, March 24, 2009) - Renee Montgomery (St. Albans, W. Va.) scored 25 points, an NCAA Tournament best for the senior guard, as she led the No. 1 seed University of Connecticut women's basketball team over the No. 8 seed Florida 87-59 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Tuesday night. The Huskies now advance to the Sweet 16 in Trenton, N.J.

STORRS, Conn. (Tuesday, March 24, 2009) - Junior Peter Fatse (Hampden, Mass.) was 4-for-4 with two RBIs as the University of Connecticut baseball team cruised to a 9-3 victory over Holy Cross on Tuesday afternoon at J.O. Christian Field.
