Kelly pays attention only to TCU, Boise State

"The only teams I watch are TCU and Boise State," Cincinnati Bearcats coach Brian Kelly mentioned the other day. "I really don't care about those other teams. Look, we know about Florida, we know about Alabama, we know about Texas. If I'm ever sitting down reading the paper or trying to get some information, I want to know about TCU and Boise."

M. Basketball. Men's Basketball Opens 2009-10 vs. Prairie View A&M

The Cincinnati Bearcats (0-0, 0-0 BIG EAST) open their 109th season of basketball and fourth under head coach Mick Cronin on Monday, Nov. 16 vs. Prairie View A&M (1-0, 0-0 SWAC) at 7:30 p.m. EST in Fifth Third Arena. The game will air on 700 WLW with Dan Hoard and Chuck Machock handling the call. The game will not be televised but a webcast will be available through GoBEARCATS.com's CATSVISION All-Access.

W. Volleyball. Volleyball Closes Conference Play with Three-Set Sweep over St. John's

Behind a team hitting percentage of .356 and nine blocks, the University of Cincinnati volleyball team continued its winning ways at home with a 3-0 win over St. John's University Sunday afternoon at Fifth Third Arena. Junior Stephanie Niemer (Erlanger, Ky./St. Henry) led all players with 11 kills and did not commit an error en route to a .456 hitting percentage as UC extended its home winning streak to 27 matches.

Cross Country. Cross Country Finishes 13th, 16th at NCAA Great Lakes Regional

The University of Cincinnati men's and women's cross country teams finished 16th and 13th, respectively, at the 2009 Great Lakes Regional hosted by Indiana University at the Indiana University Championship Cross Country Course Saturday afternoon.
