Boston College Eagles

The Boston College women's basketball team will play in the fourth annual Maggie Dixon Classic on Sunday, Dec. 13 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The Eagles are scheduled to face Baylor University, which finished the 2008-09 season ranked fifth in the country. It will be the first meeting between the two teams.

Former Boston College striker Charlie Davies has emerged as a soccer star on the international stage following success with his Swedish Club Hammarby IF and as a member of the U.S. national team that finished as the runner-up (to Brazil) in the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup in South Africa in late June.

Boston College senior Chelsey Feole was named to the Junior National Development announced recently by the United States Field Hockey Association. Feole competed in the National Futures Championship in Virginia, Beach.
