Led by senior David Arlington (Eagle River, Alaska), the Air Force diving team completed the first day of competition at the Wildcat Diving Invitational, hosted by Arizona.

The Air Force women's basketball team fell to visiting Portland, 73-65, Friday afternoon in Clune Arena. Junior guard Raimee Beck paced the Falcons with her second-consecutive double-double of the season, recording a season-best 25 points to go along with 10 rebounds. With the loss, the Falcons drop to 1-3 on the season, while the Pilots improve to 1-2.

Outscored 4-1 in the final quarter, the 14th-ranked Air Force water polo team, seeded second in the conference tournament, dropped a 10-9 decision to seventh-seed Whittier in the opening round of the 2009 Western Water Polo Association Championship.
